Last night the Montreal Canadiens defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning. And immediately the calculators started calculating.
First off, I am a big believer that the Habs are done.
For the Habs to make the playoffs they would have to play like an elite team until the end of the season. Whether it's .670 or something else, Montreal would have to play a lot better than they have been playing so far.
I'd like to believe, but unless Markov and Gomez show up and turn this boat around, it's going to be a long summer without the Habs.
At least the San Jose Sharks have kicked up their performance a notch winning 5-2 against the Washington Capitals...
